How the marketplace works

The Hotline HQ Marketplace is the public face of every unanswered broadcast on the voice network. When a yard broadcasts a part request on the hotline and nobody responds within the session, the request is automatically captured, transcribed, and posted here — with year, make, model, and part parsed out.

Any yard — member or not — can browse these open requests and respond directly. It's a second chance at every sale the live line missed.

Live requests, not stale listings

Unlike traditional parts marketplaces where sellers list inventory, Hotline HQ flips the model: buyers post what they need. Every listing is a real request from a real yard or shop. You're not browsing inventory — you're browsing demand. If you have the part, you respond and close the sale.

Filtered by region, make, year

Search by regional room (California, Texas, Florida, Arizona), vehicle make, or model year. The most active rooms see 40+ new requests per day. Requests include Ford, Toyota, Honda, Chevrolet, Nissan, and Dodge across model years from the 1990s through 2025.

From broadcast to listing in seconds

When a broadcast goes unanswered on the live hotline, Hotline HQ automatically transcribes the audio, extracts part details, and creates a searchable listing. No manual data entry. The marketplace is always current because it's fed by the live network — not by sellers updating inventory.

Why this is different from Car-Part.com or eBay

Demand-side, not supply-side

Car-Part.com and eBay show what sellers have listed. Hotline HQ's marketplace shows what buyers actually need right now. For a yard owner, this is the most valuable signal: real-time demand you can fill.

No listing fees, no photos, no data entry

Sellers don't list parts here. They respond to requests. That means you don't need to photograph, catalog, or price anything. Just browse what people need and respond if you have it. Learn more about selling on the network.

Connected to the live voice network

The marketplace is the fallback channel. The fastest way to buy and sell is the live voice hotline — 2-second average response time. The marketplace catches everything the live line misses and gives it a longer shelf life.

Marketplace FAQ

Who posts requests on the marketplace?

Requests come from the live Hotline HQ voice network. When a yard or shop broadcasts a part request on the hotline and it goes unanswered, the system automatically transcribes it and posts it to the marketplace. Every listing is a real request from a real business.

How do I respond to a marketplace request?

Click on any listing to see the full details — year, make, model, part needed, and which regional room it came from. If you have the part, use the contact info to reach the requester directly. No middleman, no fees.

Is the marketplace free to browse?

Yes. Anyone can browse the marketplace and see what parts buyers are looking for. To respond to requests or post your own broadcasts on the live hotline, you need a Hotline HQ membership.

How often are new requests posted?

New requests are posted throughout the day as unanswered broadcasts come in from the live network. Active rooms like California see 40+ broadcasts per day. The marketplace is always refreshing with new demand.

What's the difference between the marketplace and the live hotline?

The live hotline is real-time voice — you broadcast and get answers in 2 seconds. The marketplace is the async fallback — unanswered requests are posted here for yards to browse and respond to later. Most yards use both: the live line for speed, the marketplace for coverage.
