Verbal deals need a paper trail

On a live voice network, deals happen in seconds. Without recordings, there's no way to verify what was said, who responded, or if the deal was honored. Broadcast recording puts an automatic paper trail on every interaction.

How It Works

  1. Automatic recording. The moment a member unmutes, FreeSWITCH starts recording audio to a WAV file. No buttons to press, no setup.
  2. AI transcription. After the broadcast ends, the audio runs through local Whisper AI. For auto parts broadcasts, year/make/model/part get extracted automatically.
  3. Metadata captured. Who spoke, when, for how long, how many listeners were online, whether anyone responded, and how fast. All logged.
  4. Searchable history. Admins and members can browse broadcast history with filters by room, date, answered/unanswered status. Every recording has an inline audio player.

Key Benefits

Real-world: resolving a pricing dispute

A buyer says the yard quoted $200 on the hotline for a radiator, but the yard says it was $250. The admin pulls up the broadcast recording, plays it back, and confirms the quote was $200. Dispute resolved in 30 seconds with audio evidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all broadcasts recorded automatically?

Yes. Recording starts the moment a member unmutes. No opt-in, no button to press. It's always on.

How long are recordings kept?

Recordings stay on the server indefinitely. Admins can manage storage as needed, but there's no automatic deletion.

Can members access their own broadcast recordings?

Members can listen to broadcasts in the broadcast panel on their dashboard. Admins get full access to all recordings with download.

Does the AI transcription work for all languages?

Whisper supports multiple languages, but the auto-parts extraction (year/make/model parsing) is tuned for English broadcasts.

Can I share a broadcast recording externally?

Yes. Admins can generate a shareable public link for any broadcast. The link shows the audio player, speaker info, and transcription on a branded page. No login needed.
